Power Planning Associates
Power Planning Associates Ltd (PPA) comprises a group of highly experienced professionals specialising in techno-economic and management consultancy services for the energy sector, with particular emphasis on the power sub-sector.
The importance of gas as a fuel for electricity generation in recent years has meant that there is often a requirement for consideration of both sectors in any analysis. Regulatory bodies, for example, may cover both electricity and gas as is the case in the UK. PPA works closely with Gas Strategies on many gas-to-power assignments.
IBS Research & Consultancy
Founded in 1985, IBS assists leading international and local companies build their businesses in Turkey and Central Asia. Over 70% of IBS’s work is conducted for foreign multinationals.
IBS’s services include business forecasting and planning, advisory and consultancy work, feasibility studies, market entry strategy development, partner identification and investigation, and mergers & acquisitions. Benjamin Schlesinger & Associates Inc
BSA is an independent management consulting firm in Maryland, USA, specialising in all strategic aspects of the natural gas and energy industries. BSA has been uniquely close to its client industries, and has developed a keen understanding of commercial market and trading mechanisms. As a sixteen year veteran of NYMEX’s Gas Advisory Committee, Dr. Schlesinger, the firm’s founding principal, helped NYMEX and the industry write and market the extraordinarily successful gas futures contract.

Marine Service
Marine Service GmbH was founded in 1958 as a marine consulting company offering commercial, legal and technical services to the shipping industry. It has specialist expertise in the handling and transport of liquefied gases (LNG, LEG, LPG), chemicals and petroleum products. Marine Service has been involved in the design and construction of 32 LNG carriers, and has been retained by a number of LNG importers and producers as technical, commercial and legal advisor for LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and the corresponding transport agreements.
Gas Strategies have been working with Marine Service for ten years.
